it is as lucky to have a good (neighbor) as unfortunate to have a bad one. in real life, some (neighbors) are admired like role models while some are who, for lack of mutual respect, you would love to hate; but most others are considered somewhere in between. perhaps, what makes you a desirable (neighbor) is simply having enough traditional common sense, such as 1) behaving yourself and 2) understanding the people living next door.

first, have respect for yourself. to be a most wanted (neighbor) , probably nothing is more appropriate than behaving yourself without passing the conventional limits. common sense has it that you should strictly play by the rules acceptable to (neighbors), and should not do anything to the contrary. so, to your best judgment, you had better be as much careful with a number of things you must do as with some other things you must not do under any circumstance. only by so doing can you earn that kind of respect which you deserve. in other words, you can become an excellent (neighbor) if you decide to be one. if not, it is just other (neighbors') misfortune.

second, have respect for others. understanding your (neighbors) is key to having a respectful relationship. often enough, misunderstanding getting wrong is the beginning of the end of would-be friendship still under construction. therefore, it is important to prevent yourself from misunderstanding others, on the one hand; whereas, on the other hand, to avoid being misunderstood. that is to say, even though you have the right to be yourself anyway, you must not allow unwanted incidents to happen, thus unluckily causing others to misinterpret your usual behaviors, or vice versa. at this point, it is worth mentioning that a great degree of patience and tolerance on your part is always required to achieve harmony among (neighbors).

to sum up, the qualities of being an excellent (neighbor) are basically characterized by the need to behave yourself as well as to understand other individuals. of course, exactly what is a good (neighbor) is a matter of opinions. for that matter, the feelings about common sense are mutual, all the rest depending on whatever you might think.
