【来历】来自中世纪英语中的短语“god be with ye”，意思是“上帝与你同在”，在中世纪后期，缩略成了“godbyye”或“god.b.w.ye”。
【演变】bye bye. bye. [bai] 是goodbye的口语化，较为常用。还有wave goodbye表示挥别，kiss goodbye表示吻别。
see you later. 回见。口语中常用的道别方式，并不表示真的像字面上那样“一会儿再见”。

take care. 保重。带有关照意味的道别方式。原本应该用于挂掉电话之前，但逐渐在关系亲密的人之间使用频繁。
